Which is harder to obtain- Sole-Princeship (Dictatorship) or a Princedom with Barons (Absolute Monarchy)? Why?

A sole Prince-ship is harder to obtain because the people will be afraid of the Prince (Dictator) and won't cooperate to help overturn the current Prince. Before reading this story we did not know so much information of how politics were in the past times and what the princes did when they were in command.
