n Thursday, March 4, 2010, two days after the 2010 Texas Primary Elections, the Lubbock Avalanche Journal published the following letter to the editor: No GOP candidates on Demo ballot I'm a registered Democrat, as is my mother. On the primary ballot we did not have choices of Republican or Democrat, only Democrat. There were no Republican candidates. We pick the best person regardless of party.
