What factors contributed to the formation of the communist perspective of economics?

One of the most important factors contributing to the development of communism is the bad financial situation of workers, mostly factory workers during the time of industrialization. Communism was based on the idea that if the workers united, they could own the factory together and that this would assure their well-being.
