Which statement does not explain the concept of the doppler effect? the answer is: as a sound source moves away from a stationary object, the sound waves are compressed, increasing the pitch. why? do i just have the question wrong i am so confused i thought that as a sound source moved away, the sound waves don't compress decreasing the pitch?
