The Starship Enterprise returns from warp drive to ordinary space with a forward speed of 51 km/s . To the crew's great surprise, a Klingon ship is 110 km directly ahead, traveling in the same direction at a mere 30 km/s. Without evasive action, the Enterprise will overtake and collide with the Klingons in just about 5.2 s. The Enterprise's computers react instantly to brake the ship. What magnitude acceleration does the enterprise need to just barely avoid a collision with the klingon ship? Assume the acceleration is constant.

Give your knowledge of these things in your paper, you will compare and contrast analog and digital signals to determine which is more reliable for encoding and transmitting information. you’ll compare these features: signal shape numerical values for signal measurements amount of data that can be transmitted energy requirements privacy and security (ability of the signal to be encoded in a secret code) clarity of signal in the space provided, write down what you already know about any of these features. if you’re not sure, write down questions you might have about the features.

The speed of sound in ice, water, and steam is shown. what best explains the speed of sound in different states of matter? sound travels fastest in ice because energy is easier to transfer when the molecules are close together. sound travels slowest in steam because the sound has to move around the gas molecules that are far apart. sound travels fastest in ice because the temperature of solids is always greater, so the heat transfers the sound energy. sound travels slowest in steam because the pressure is so great the sound cannot travel though the steam particles.
