This is an inverse/derivative question that was worked on in class, and everyone got a different answer (-3, 1/3, -1/ and class ended before we could discuss how to work it out on our homework submission. i have no idea where to begin but it is obvious that a 0.1 increase in x causes a 0.3 decrease in h(x). most students said that since h(x) has a change of -0.3, dy/dx h^-1(x) should be -1/0.3 = -1/(1/3) = -3. is this correct thinking?
