A standard deck of cards has 52 cards. There are 13 values: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace. There are 4 suits: Diamonds, Hearts, Clubs, and Spades. Each suit has all 13 values, thus there are 4 times 13 = 52 total cards. Complete the following and justify. (a) Suppose you are dealt one card. What is the probability of being dealt a club?
(b) Suppose one card is dealt. What is the probability of being dealt a 7 or a Jack?
(c) Suppose one card is dealt. What is the probability of being dealt a heart or Queen?
(d) Suppose two Kings have already been dealt to you. Suppose you also know that the 10 of spades, Queen of hearts, 7 of spades, and 3 of diamonds have been dealt. What is the probability that the next card dealt is a King?
(e) Suppose you have two cards in your hands: the ace of hearts and the queen of hearts. You also know that the King of spades, 7 of diamonds, 2 of diamonds, and Jack of clubs have been dealt. What is the probability that the next card dealt is a diamond?
