A. 32 = 3s + 8

minus 8 from both sides

24 = 3s

divide by 3

s = 8

B: Q/10 = 6

multiply by 10 on both sides

Q = 6 × 10

Q = 60

C: 2b -1 = 7

add 1 to both sides

2b = 8

divide by 2

b = 4

D: d/8 = 2

multiply by 8 on both sides

d = 2 ×8

d = 16

E: 10u + 5 = 45

minus 5 from both sides

10u = 40

divide by 10

u = 4

F: j/11 = 7

multiply by 11 on both sides

j = 7 × 11

j = 77
