The quadratic has NO real roots. Both roots are imaginary.

Discussion:

I believe the equation involved is  7x^2 + 1 = 5x.

7x^2 + 1 = 5x      => subtract 5x from both sides

7x^2 -5x + 1 = 0

Discriminant of ax^2 + bx + c = 0 is b^2 - 4ac. In our case it is

(-5)^2 - 4 (7) (1) =

25 - 28 =

-3.

Since it is negative the quadratic has NO real roots. Both roots are imaginary.

The solutions are x = 1/14 (5 +\- i sqrt(3))

h = history teacher

s = science teacher

a =   art teacher.

i see no data table, but just multiply the number of history teachers, science teachers, and art teachers.

think the answer is 30 degrees. if not than it is 20 degrees. not 100% sure. let me know if it was right.
