A) After receiving the three prophecies from the witches, Macbeth has several instances where he thinks about what needs to happen in order for him to become king. Throughout the first few scenes we see him going back and forth with his "dark thoughts". At the end of act one we see how Macbeth has made up his mind to go through with the murder of King Duncan. Does Macbeth make this decision due to his own ambition and desire to be king or was he influenced/manipulated by Lady Macbeth? b) Compare and contrast Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. Focus on Macbeth's evolution from the beginning of act one to the ending of act one.
