How did the Constitution protect the United States citizens from the government becoming too powerful? Please help me with this‼️

The consitution of the United States protects the goverment from being too powerful by the use of Checks in Balances, The First amendment, Judical Review, and the Bill of rights. Each in there own way stops the goverment from having complete power over their citizens.
