Why would ordinary people support the Nazi party?​

Racism was common during that time period. It basically stood for what they believed at the time. And they believed that they were superior and others were beneath them. Countries like America, Germany, and Poland were big supporters. It was common to see Nazi flags there even though no Nazi’s were in concentration camps were in America. Some that supported it didn’t know the full extent of what the Nazi party was doing. Even if they did the majority would have still supported it. It was the idea that they should have more control. It was also because those who supported it knew they wouldn’t be targeted. They wouldn’t be targeted because they were of a race that was not targeted (like caucasians).
