Throughout, the year of the 1920s and 1930s, the Soviet Union encountered a group of hunger strikes which pointed to the divestment of millions of people. The principal cause of such starvation was the evidence that the administration established specific portions which turned to be the biggest challenge for the farmers to meet. However, there is still some discussion over whether the hunger was an outcome of bad policy or a conscious act of genocide.
