Why did the framers think a constitution was necessary?

The Founding Fathers thought that it was necessary to have a constitution because they believed in the idea of limited government. The Founding Fathers believed that government should not be allowed to simply do whatever it wanted. Such a government would be able to tyrannize its people.

a main characteristic in these books is that un most of them we find certain "norms" of behavior, as is the case of the bible that has it's commandments. these rules are to regulate the behavior of believers and faithful of their respective faith.

these rules tell us what is right and what is not.
