Peoples'  cultural, economic and political values during the Cold War helped create a bipolar view of the world. People identifying themselves pro and anti communism has divided the world into two sides. Two power blocs--the Soviet Union or the Eastern Block and the United States or the Western Bloc  left the rest of the world to choose camps to achieve global order..

no one really purchased it themselves, it was all america, they had debates etc.
