What do you think it means to exhibit self-motivation ? Explain your thinking

I think exhibiting self-motivation means having the ability yo do things on your own with out someone telling you to do something. Doing chores that you know need to to be done and knowing that procrastinating is not always a good idea because it will still be there, still needed to get done.
