A União Europeia é uma união econômica e política de características únicas, constituída por 27 países europeus que, em conjunto, abarcam grande parte do continente europeu. Seu processo de criação teve início logo após a Segunda Guerra Mundial. Sobre o bloco econômico da União Europeia (EU), CONCLUA a alternativa INCORRETA: a) A União Europeia adotou em 2002 uma moeda única, o Euro, sendo a moeda oficial da zona Euro, a qual é constituída por 19 dos 27 estados-membro da União Europeia.

b) Um dos motivos da criação da União Europeia no pós-Guerra, além de diminuir conflitos entre os países, era o interesse em fortalecer a economia e as relações entre os países do continente europeu no momento pós-guerra, frente aos demais países do mundo.

c) Em 2017 o Reino Unido decidiu retirar-se do bloco da União Europeia, ação essa que ficou conhecida como “Brexit” (abreviação para "British exit"). Após três anos de negociações, no dia 31/01/2020, aconteceu o Brexit, às 23h (horário local – Londres).

d) O principal motor da economia europeia é o mercado único, que permite que a maioria das pessoas, bens, serviços e capitais circulem livremente. A Zona do Euro refere-se a todos os países que fazem parte da União Europeia.
