The 2nd region is a tropical savannah climate, characteristic of most of inner India, states like Madhya Pradesh, Maharastra, and Andhra Pradesh.

Finally, the 1st region corresponds to the arid climate of Northeast India, in the states of Rajashtan, and Gujarat.
