The distribution of age and comparative sizes of male and female population is obtained through the pyramid obtained through the census. The rate of change in the population size is obtained by comparing the structure obtained from the earlier census.

The effect of natural disaster varies according to the location where the disaster takes palace. For example, the hurricanes and floods will affect the population at coastal location where as urbanization will affect the  population at major cities.

So, the effect of natural disaster on the population cannot be identified with age as it gives male and female population in particular age and their distribution.
