Manitoba is a Province of Canada lying on the Canadian great plains and bordering Ontario and Saskatchewan.


Manitoba's economy depends on agriculture, natural resources, oil, mining, tourism and forestry.

Manitoba's is the world's largest producer of sunflower seed oil and one of the largest suppliers of potatoes to McDonald's and Wendy's.
Due to it's location, geography and history and relatively low population density, the Province has never developed into a major Manufacturing Hub.

Labor skills are mostly based on traditional industries and people with more advanced skills usually move to the Greater Toronto Area or Vancouver.
