Why do you think suicide/mental health is an important social issue in our world today? provide a solution to the problem

Suicide/mental health is an important social issue because not many people acknowledge and suicide rates are increasing. I think understanding why a person feels suicidal or struggling with mental health is a good first step as well as being a support system for them to know they have someone. Loved ones should take note of signs of a person feeling suicidal beforehand to take precautions.
