Rey seemed kind of down this year about her birthday. It was during our winter break and such a busy time of year that she was concerned it would get lost in the shuffle. After talking to her mom, I was even more excited about giving her a surprise party. With her momâs help, I was able to contact family and friends I did not know from school. I also invited all our friends from classes and sports. Everyone showed up right on time, ahead of Rey. She looked shocked, but very happy that we had all come to celebrate her birthday!
