Can some one help me write a poem

You only think of rain as a part of nature but there is so much more to it than that

It kisses you on the forehead when you force yourself out of bed and edge yourself outside

It helps you remember that there is a rainbow after the storm

And most importantly, it provides you with an indescribable feeling that makes you feel safe and understood

As you lay in bed, it sings a soft lullaby to those who are willing to listen to it

It sings a song that places you in a deep slumber  

Reassures you that even mother nature needs to cry sometimes

The raindrops weave a sense of comfort

Something that no book, no blanket, and no person could provide

Oh rain won’t you drown me in solace? In sympathy?

Protect me from words of hate?

Protect me from myself...
