I gotta say what's on my mind Something about us... doesn't seem right these days...
life keeps getting in the way
whatever we try somehow the plans are always rearranged
it's so hard to say... but we both know what's best for you... and that isn't me
you'll be ok
You've got to move on... we both know who I am
I just don't belong here...
I hope you'll understand...
We might find a place in this world someday,
But at least for now.
I gotta go my own way...
Don't wanna leave it all behind...
But you get your hopes,
And then you watch them fall everytime.
I know you're gonna do so great...
And it's just so hard to watch it all slowly fade away...
I'm leaving today,
Cuz what's best for you is life without me...
You'll be ok
You've got to move on... we both know who I am
I just don't belong here...
I hope you'll understand...
We might find a place in this world someday,
But at least for now.
I gotta go my own way...
