Did you know that high school graduates earn over $10,000 more per year than high school dropouts? Imagine what that increase in salary could do for your financial stability! Additionally, about half of all Americans who rely on public assistance funds are people who have not completed their high school education, creating a higher financial burden on our society. Our country must grow in economic strength and not deplete our resources. As a teacher myself, I have seen students drop out on a weekly basis, and it breaks my heart. We must rally together to combat the rate of students who drop out; let’s support and encourage the youth in our schools!
