Why does Starr get mad at Hailey at the beginning of the chapter? Is her anger justified

There are many incidents where Starr is mad at Hailey. Starr gets mad at Hailey because she unfollowed her Tumbler and Hailey told Starr at a game of basketball in gym "Pretend like the ball is fried chicken..." making Starr mad. I think her anger is justified because you should never joke about something like that. She also found out why Hailey unfollowed her Tumbler because, "I didn't want those pictures on my tumbler," after Maya told her.
