how can understanding body language people communicate better?

Understanding body language can help you deduce how the person is feeling towards your conversations/statements. I'll use an easy one as an example: Flirting. Let's say a boy is talking to a girl and she's twirling her hair and biting her lip. That usually means that she's into him but if the boy doesn't know body language, he won't know that
