if you hadn't read the story, based on the definition of interloper, what do you think the story would be about?

At first, I thought this story was going to be about Cuban refugee's fleeing from the Cuban dictatorship.  Upon entering into the United States not knowing that they would be declined, they would be sent back. With that being said, they fled to south American countries.
