Crossroads: A Sad Vaudeville: In the play, the man and woman were longing to make an emotional and physical connection with each other, and later on, they both shared thier fears of being alone in the world. This addresses the theme of suffering, because they suffered their fears of beings alone in the world. The play was written by Carlos Solorzano in 1959. Direct quote: "The man was waiting for the woman at the train station, and he called her the 'special one to him'"
