Read the passage. the mariner … is gone; and now the wedding guest turned from the bridegroom’s door. he went like one that hath been stunned… what does the wedding guest do after hearing the mariner’s story in samuel taylor coleridge’s “the rime of the ancient mariner”? he finds the two other guests, so they too can also hear the mariner’s tale. he recounts the tale to other people, just like the mariner. he rejoins the wedding party so that they can begin the wedding. he leaves the wedding party, stunned by the tale he hears.
