What happens when a vinyl strip is rubbed with a woolen cloth, then brought near a stream of water?

The wool is then electron deficit or positively charged. The stream of water bends when the strip is brought neared. The bending is actually caused by the repulsion of the same charges or the attraction of the opposite charges.
