Natural Gas
Example Natural gas is formed deep below Earth’s surface. It is used for heating buildings and producing electricity. It is also used in industry or factories. Sometimes it is used to produce chemicals and fertilizers. PROS – Burns cleaner than all other fossil fuels.
CONS – Releases some pollutants in the atmosphere. Expensive to transport.
Petroleum Its is a matierial made from decayinplants and animals. Its is found the earths surface. They could be found in the ground from when they decayed and slowly decayed into the ground. Pros: Can be found easily
Cons: When burning cause gas to go up into the air wich is polluting it.

Example Energy captured from moving water. Dams are used to create electricity in rivers. Sometimes waves and tides are used to capture energy. 1/5 of the world’s energy comes from hydropower.
PROS - Clean and does not produce air pollution.
CONS – Can cause environmental damage. Can harm fish.
