Explain the difference between proportion and balance

 Proportion refers to the relative size and scale of the various elements in a design. Balance refers to the ways in which the elements (lines, shapes, colors, textures, etc.) of a piece are arranged. 

What i think is that it adds loudness for preachers/church choirs. it is also able to hold up a lot of weight without pillars. : )) idek tho
