Painting is one of the best ways to relax.  When I sit down to paint I can just forget about all the stress I have from my day, and just think about painting.   I listen to my music and I don't care about getting paint all over me, all I care about is what's happening right now, what I'm doing right now.  I leave all my responsibilities and stress behind and just focus on the now.   Like I said painting is a way to relax, a way to leave all your trouble behind even for just an hour.  It's a way to escape the issues we face in this world.
