In short, Federal Student Aid

This is for students who need money for schooling but don't have a great way to obtain it.

You must maintain enrollment as an undergraduate student and must not have previously earned a bachelor’s degree. Your eligibility for federal student aid, including the FSEOG, is determined by completing the FAFSA form on an annual basis.

Many high school seniors will fill out the FAFSA before their freshman year of college.
