խաչերին, Հայ եկեղեցու խաչապաշ-
տությանը: Առաջին գլուխն աչքի է ընկ-
ում իր ընդգծված տեսական բնույթով`
մի հատկանիշ, որը սակավ է հանդի-
պում նման հետազոտություններում:
Գրքի երկրորդ գլուխը նվիրված է
խաչքարերի ժամանակագրական-տի-
պարանական և պատկերագրական
քննությանը: Այս գլուխը ամենաընդար-
ձակն է և իր թեմայով ու ծավալով մի-
անգամայն կարող էր լինել առանձին
մենագրություն։ Գլուխն ունի ենթաբա-
ժանումներ (ըստ ժամանակագրու-
թյան), որոնք համապատասխանում են
նաև խաչքարի հորինվածքի ձևավոր-
ման և զարգացման փուլերին: Դրանք
են` ա) 9-10-րդ դդ, բ) 11-րդ դ., գ) 12-14-
րդ դդ., դ) 15-17-րդ դդ. և առանձին`
«Ջուղայի խաչքարերը»։
Երկրորդ գլուխն ունի ակնհայտ
արվեստաբանական բնույթ: Հեղինաս-
կը այս ասպարեզում ցուցաբերում է իր
ունակությունը և հմտությունը, տալիս
խաչքարերի հորինվածքների խիստ
մասնագիտական վերլուծությունը, բա-
ցահայտում խաչքարերի զարգացման
տարբեր փուլերի առանձնահատկու-
թյունները:

աստվածաբանության խոշորագույն
ներկայացուցիչների երկերը (Դավիթ`
Անհաղթ, Ներսես Շնորհալի, Գրիգոր
