The easiest language to learn is the one native to you. From the time you are a baby you are taught and encouraged to speak in that language. As for when you are older, when it comes down to it learning a language is a person to person case in terms of what is "easy." I had friends in high school who did french and it was a breeze, meanwhile I failed. I would say Spanish is pretty easy though but that could be pretty bias since I took it in from elementary school to high school.
