La Agencia Nacional de Promoción Científica y Tecnológica (ANPCyT, por sus siglas en español) está dedicada, principalmente,  a financiar proyectos de investigación que tienen por objetivo las mejoras de las condiciones sociales, económicas y culturales de Argentina, un país sudamericano. Esta agencia se creó en 1996 como ejemplo de cambio positivo en las políticas públicas en relación a la ciencia.
