2. Todos buscamos amigos que: siempre nos digan la verdad.

This sentence says: Everyone is looking for friends who always tell us the truth. The verb "decir" is conjugated in subjunctive because we don't know for sure if these friends exist (to conjugate in the subjunctive, first conjugate the first person singular form in the present tense (yo digo), then subtract the ending (dig-) then add the appropriate ending for third person plural in subjunctive (digan)).

3. Irene y José viven en una ciudad que: es cómoda y barata.

The sentence says: Irene and José live in a cheap, comfortable city. The verb "ser" is conjugated in the present indicative because this is a true statement. You can also find the answer because the adjectives "cómoda" and "barata" correspond to the feminine noun "ciudad."

4. Hay una farmacia que: abra hasta las doce?

This sentence says: Is there a pharmacy that's open until 12? The verb "abrir" is conjugated in subjunctive because the speaker doesn't know if this pharmacy exists. To conjugate "abrir" in the subjunctive, first conjugate it in first person singular in the present tense (yo abro), then subtract the ending (abr-), then add the appropriate subjunctive ending for third person singular (abra).
