Pues bien, mientras por un lado hemos realizado ese avance, por otro lado, nuestro machismo bestial y fanfarrón, que ve en toda mujer una muñeca sin alma ni responsabilidad condenada a sufrirnos en silencio, bien como hermana o hija, bien como novia, o amante, o esposa, continua impertérrito rigiendo nuestra vida, marcándonos la linea de conducta que en toda crisis en que se halle envuelta una mujer debemos observar. Seguimos siendo el macho, los pantalones, el tirano, cruel o benigno, que a todas horas hace sentir el peso de su autoridad. O tiranos en nuestra casa donde todo cuanto se hace y se dice y hasta se piensa ha de pasar bajo nuestra olímpica censura, asi seamos más brutos que un gorila, o galanes en la calle, donde no hay necedad o groseria que no les disparemos al pasar en forma de piropos.
