Explain how stem-changing –ir verbs are different from stem-changing –ar and –er verbs in the present subjunctive. answer in english!

The answer that I put down on my test is Stem-changing -ir describe how you are feeling in the future and -ar & -er describe how you are feeling in the present. And it all depends on the words around it if it should end in er then the word would end with er feminine masculine. a or o e or i.
