Costar- the meaning is cost or like how much some one charges you for something.

Estar- is "be" like for example when you say I'm going to "be" at my friends house then "be" would be estar

Ir- means "go", I'm going to go to the beach.

Dar- is "give", I want to "give" this to you.

Recibir- means "receive", Did you "receive" my text?
