According to Rule 3.3 of the American Bar Association's Model Rules of Professional Responsibility, the defendant's counsel is not legally obligated to break confidentiality if the attorney knows for a fact that the defendant's testimonies are false.

According to Rule 3.3 of the Model Rules of Professional Responsibility, the American Bar Association , the attorney of the defendant wouldn't be legally liable to break confidentiality if the attorney for a fact that the defendant' testimonies are false.
