Sun yat-sen's four point plan was based on the three principles of the people which were nationalism, socialism, and democracy socialism, democracy, and communism democracy, communism, and nationalism communism, nationalism, and socialism

The Three Principles of the People are also a work of Sun Yat-sen, who was also the first president of the Republic of China (today Taiwan is the continuation of this country).

Those principles are: 1) nationalism 2) the well-being of the people  and 3) democracy
