What is your position about affirmative action? state your position clearly then make and argument for the opposite view.

I believe that affirmative action is still a positive policy and should continue to be implemented in the educational and professional spheres. 

Opposite view: 
Affirmative action goes against many of the core principals of our economic system. The free market system dictates that one should be given opportunities based on merit and ability, not based on race or other demographic factors. To hire or admit someone based on race, even someone whose race historically has been marginalized, is not in compliance with the ideals of the United States.
