In what category of construction specialists do carpenters belong

I believe carpenters belong to the builders/Craftsmen category.
Carpenters is responsible in shaping various forms of woods during the construction process. In building construction, their job would include building/crafting the structure to support the foundation of the building and for the creation of pathways such as doors and windows.
