Sam is 21 and lives in an inner city area with lots of flats. Most people in the area do not have their own
garden but there is a community park for residents.
There used to be a community centre and a youth
club but these have closed. Young people in the area
now gather in the park, especially during school
holidays. Many of the young people drink alcohol
and some smoke both cigarettes and cannabis.
Sam often sees the youths in the park on his way home from work.
