A completed summary of the preamble of the US Constitution

Step 1: Prepare for the project.

Step 2: Complete your graphic organizer.

In Part 1 of the Assignment Section, list the key ideals stated in the preamble of the Constitution.

State each ideal in your own words.

Step 3: Illustrate key ideals of the preamble of the US Constitution.

Use your graphic organizer to identify key ideals of the US Constitution.

Select photos online that illustrate four or more ideals.

In Part 3 of the Assignment Section, create a poster with a clear title, your name, and the photos. Beneath each photo, name the ideal it illustrates and how the photo shows the ideal.

Step 4: Summarize the preamble of the US Constitution.

Use your graphic organizer to help you summarize the preamble of the US Constitution in your own words in Part 2 of the Assignment Section.

Be sure to write a well-structured paragraph with a clear topic sentence, key ideals in the preamble, and a conclusion.

Step 5: Evaluate your project using this checklist.

If you can check each box below, you are ready to submit your project.

Is your name on your project paper?

Are all blocks on your graphic organizer complete?

Is your summary of the preamble of the US Constitution complete?

Does your poster contain a title, your name, 4 or more photos of ideals in the preamble, and explanations of each photo?
