The definition of Peace is: Freedom from disturbance: tranquility. Even just te phrase itself can show you how important peace for development. The world we live in is a stressful one, from life issues, to work, to schooling, to dealing with other people everything is stressful. However, if someone has peace they can conquer stress, worry and anxiety. For instance if someone is taking a final exam it is easy for anyone to worry about it, but if someone has peace they will be calm and collected. Being calm and collected (having peace) gives the gurantee that no rash decisions will be made, no nervous guesses and no breakdowns from worrying. Furthermore having peace will help someone make big decisions and it will help them move on. If a person is trying to move on from something the best way and one of the only ways to do so is to be at peace with the past or with whatever they are moving on from.
