We want to know if people's perception of luck can affect their performance. We recruit some participants to play a round of put-put golf. One group of people are told the putter they are using has been really lucky all day. A second group of people are told that the putter has been really unlucky all day. The third group of people are just handed the putter with no comment. What type of test should we use to see if perception of luck has any effect on performance
